Preparing for First Author Event

So, as every author reaches the long-awaited goal of finally publishing their very first book and begins to soak in the overwhelming joy and deep pride of such a monumental accomplishment, the sobering realization that the true adventure is only just beginning starts to settle in. I, myself, have been trying to brace for the inevitable rollercoaster of emotions — feeling both the elation of pride in reaching this milestone and the daunting anticipation of what lies ahead. As an indie author, I can honestly admit that the journey is often challenging and filled with moments of uncertainty, but I firmly believe that it will only continue to get better if I remain willing to put in the consistent, relentless work. I have been incredibly blessed by the unwavering support of my loving fiancé and my closest best friends, who have stood by me through every twist and turn, and also by the encouragement of all of you, my readers, who took a chance on me and my stories. Fueled by all this love and support, I have found the courage to step out of my comfort zone and apply for my very first author event. I am beyond proud and exhilarated to share that I have been officially accepted into my local library’s upcoming author event, happening on November 22, 2025 — a new chapter in this thrilling journey.

Being able to create a beautifully haunting love story in my debut novel, Hearts In Shadows, and then to share it with amazing readers—both cherished longtime fans and passionate new souls from all corners of the world—makes the experience feel utterly surreal, like a dream woven from whispered secrets. Yet, deep in my heart, I know this is my reality, and I feel profoundly grateful and truly blessed beyond words.
